This one feels like a step backward in the series. Of COURSE this book is centered around the adult film industry and all the succubus-level vampires of the black court. I would expect nothing more from Jim Butcher.

There were some reveals that kept the overall plot driving forward (we find out a lot about Harry’s mom as well as his mentor). However, this was not quite as good as some of the other books in the series. And I’m so tired of Harry explaining how chivalrous he is…

This has been my favorite so far out of the series. Dresden working on an adult movie! Priceless!

Here you have it folks this right here is so far my favorite Dresden case yet. It was so solid of a case very focused and centered on one point. As per the last case which was like 3 small cases that all intertwined together.

We definitely got some big family scoop for mister Dresden and some brilliant character growth once again. That is where this series shines is that in each entry their is a significant change in the person Harry or others start out and where the end up at the end.

I want to say more but I have 9 more novels to get through to catch up so away I go!

This is just too juvenile for me. Not enjoying it that much. Pizza, soda, boobs, and one-liners in the face of danger. It's a popular series but I'm done with it and now on to greener fantasy pastures.

Not as strong as the previous entry, but there's some coolest stuff. It's probably the 2nd weakest book in the series so far, the weakest being fool moon

This had my on the edge of my seat most of the time. A lot of new revelations were made, and it looks like the stories are heading in a new direction and I liked it. Looking forward to the next now again.

So let me get this straight. You want me to help save the girl, overthrow the dark lord, and defend the innocents terrorized by dark magic. And you want me to do it because you're my long-lost half brother, who needs someone noble to stand beside him in desperate battle for what's right.

God I love Harry Dresden. These books rock. That is all.
