Crackle. Power. Pain.

I was kind of expecting this book to be more on the gentle side, I did not expect it to rip my heart into pieces. 
Brilliant. Must read the second one.

If not for Veronica's character bugging the complete shit out of me, i would have given this book a 5 out of 5. I normally don't cry at books (especially when my suspicions were confirmed) so this one really surprised me. I already got the second book, beside me so i'm excited to read more!

It is an really nice book especially if you like books about witches. Furthermore it has some interesting plottwists I didn’t expected to happen. Moreover it is quite easy to get into the story and follow it along. All in all it was just an really nice book🫶

It was fine. I thought it was an easy but fun read. Just a tad predictable for my taste. It is YA and I am no longer that so it could be why. 

 I probably won’t continue the series but it was a nice read. I would recommend it to the youths though

It's a 3.75 - 4.0 range. More entertaining that I initially thought and will gladly read the sequel. Fantastic job from the narrator (Kristen DiMercurio). The world building/rules of the witches is simple but interesting, but I hated

the use of "reg" to speak of magicless humans 😅
