It's my first time to read Judy Blume's work.

I enjoyed read it as a light reading. However, I'm not really impressed...

Truly one of my favourite childhood books. It is a sweet little lesson to love yourself for who you are.

One of Blume's weaker works.

One of my all time favorite books as a child. I can't remember how many times I read it, but I remember always enjoying it. I was tempted more than once to make that fearful concoction! Amazingly enough, this is one of a very few books to have survived the great flood.
I can't wait to share it with my kids!

This is a very cute and timeless story about learning to accept yourself as the message. Andrew wants freckles because Nickey has them and thinks they are cool. Nickey doesn't like his freckles. They have a very nice teacher that helps them to learn they are perfect just the way they are.

I've always been covered in freckles, from head to toe. When I was a kid, I hated them because they made me different and therefore, other kids bullied me because of them. One day, I asked my mom how to make them go away. The next night, she brought home this book and read it to me before bed. It really did help me see the situation from another angle. Now, I work in a library and I have seen so many freckle-faced kids check this book out and it brings me joy every time I see it.

Judy Blume tells a crazy story about a kid who wants freckles. Who wants freckles? et me tell you no one in this known universe!! Anyway regardless ion that it is another yearn from Blume with a grifter a gullible kid and another kid who is festooned with the said freckles that is for some reason popular. This is book number 8 i think from Blume for me.
