I’m not seeing what everyone else is, I’m slowly trying to broaden my reading horizons and I thought a horror novella would be a nice place to start. I wasn’t creeped out, or scared or anything. I was honestly very bored and annoyed. Horror that falls into the realm of grotesque doesn’t scare me, it just annoys me. I also lost a lot of interest when the almost rape happens. Had I known a lot of people compare this writing to Stephen King I would have skipped out entirely as I do not like that man’s writing.
