This book. This series. This author. I just can't get enough. He made her now she returns the favor... dark. Dangerous. Depraved. Enthralling. Captivating. Page-turning addiction. A MUST READ!

The only reason I'm giving this book a 4 star is because of the ending. What an intense, emotion-blasting ending! Totally felt for the girl! Geeeeez, now I've got to read on to find out more!

**** 2.5 STARS****
Basically a good girl gone wild.

Well i loved the beginning of the book. It was interesting and I got captured because I could actually picture the occurrences.

Tate has sex with her sister's boyfriend( i want to hate her but I felt like the sister deserved it...so you go girl!!!). It is wild and hot and everything but the moment, Jameson ( from this moment referred to as 'this guy' or 'the guy' because he doesn't even deserves me typing his name ) opens his mouth, I felt like he couldn't be more of an asshole. He talks shit and acts like shit and the little piece of shit deserved to hit by a log that he uses in his big ass house .

He cares little for others which made me want to pull my hair out all the fucking time ( i shaved my hair a few months ago and if i pull anything i will have a noticeable bald spot).

Tate and the guy.....worst couple ever.....They have no loyalty to each other and their relationship had no foundation at all. They acted like kids whenever things went south. I felt like the girl couldn't get anymore stupid since she threw her life away after sleeping with him seven years ago. Sure she gave up going to Harvard when she realized that political science was her family's dream but she could have made a life out of art which she loved doing ( which was completely forgotten the moment the guy came into the picture).

The guy was one of those toxic people that you stay away from at all times. Thought of himself like a god and had douche ingrained in his ruthless business-minded brain.

The sex scared me a little and trust me it takes a lot to scare me.

The love triangle grows into a fucking rectangle...it felt completely out of the world to see this rich player coming into Tate's place of work but it worked for the author so...........

The positive things:
Sanders. the guy is gem. Though his POV is not found until book 2 (that i DNFed), he is a good guy and a voice of reason.
The style of writing is good. The English was better and i loved the sarcasm as well how free spirited the girl is in her sex endeavors (though it made me uncomfortable.)

Overall, i enjoyed but would not torture myself with finishing the second book because i alredy have too much

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hell yeah, book 2 for SURE. The entertainment and suspense alone earned this one five stars.

I’ll review at the point that I can take a breath!

4 1/2 stars.

Where do I even start?

Review later when I can actually process thoughts. :)

It takes a lot for me to mark a book 5 stars. Mostly I have 4's and 3's. Rarely 2's and rarely 5's. Goodreads needs to invest in half stars, but since they don't this one ranked on the higher end of 1/2 and I marked it to 5.

I have been on a darker type of book lately and when I came across this on GR and saw such high ratings, I knew I had to try it out. I got the first book awhile ago and just finally got around to it.

I won't lie, the synopsis had me a little worried. I am all for a darker read from time to time, but it seemed this one would be too much.

I was wrong. Very wrong. Yes these characters, all of them, are all kinds of screwed up. Tate who likes to be degraded while in compromising positions, and Jameson who is so alpha it hurts. His way, or the highway.

But there was more. More to the little games that they play with each other. This is a story about two people, that they can't even see what is right in front of them. They always have to try and one up the other, and eventually, it does go too far.

While this book was tiring with their back and forth, it was in a good way. For me a least. I shouldn't want to like a book like this, but I did. And I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I had to get the second right away. And then the third. Jameson. Oh Jameson. You can't help but root for him to win.

This book is dirty, and degrading, and has a lot of cussing. And yet, it works. I can't help but fall in love with these guys and I have already ordered a physical copy of all three books for my shelves because I love them that much!
