What a Rollercoaster!
I loved the continuation of the story here. The villains are not always evil and the heroes are not always good.
Kaianne and Andreiyes make many mistakes in their quest to free the people from the Stewards.
Many people are lost, ones we've grown to love and I really cannot wait to see what happens next.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Book 2 of the series is just as fast paced and page turning as the first novel. M.T Fontine keeps you on the edge of your seat.
It's action packed and just like with the first novel I found it easy to follow and the author's writing style definitely engages me. I just want to abandon all responsibilities and finish this book.
The world building is fantastic.
I loved the storyline and characters. The ending, the epilogue, I need book 3.

I think it says it all when I tell you that after finishing this book I really wanted to be able to pick up the next one and it’s not written yet.
The main characters of Kaianne and Andreiyes are trying to bring The Marked and The Carved together to rise against The Stewards. Andreiyes is trying to protect his family who are being controlled and Kaianne is trying to enable The Carved to no longer live in hiding.
This story is fast paced and builds to an ending that although you suspect will happen, you hope doesn’t. The author has created a fabulous tale within a world of fantasy that you just won’t want to stop reading.
I hope we won’t have long to wait for the next instalment.
