This book here took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The Vandals are everything!! The way they love Emersyn are what dreams are made of. Emersyn is still dealing with the fallout of returning back to her family and the Vandals are trying to help her with her feelings. She’s still hiding a few things from them but only because she’s still trying to protect them. As always, please heed the trigger warnings and you must start this series from Book 1 to have a full understanding of the story.

DNF. I love a long series, especially for RH, but this is just dragging on way too long. I’m bored and over it at this point. Also, as much as I love Rome, why is he getting almost ALL the screen time with Emersyn?! Jasper, Kellan, and Doc seriously need more attention.

Brutal Fighter picks up right where book 4 left off jumping right into the action. The Vandals have various pressure coming at them from all sides stretching them thin as they try to navigate who is behind it all. Bullets fly, things happen I'm not going to spoil for you and the cliffy is heart-stopping. Can't we have the next book yet? Pretty please?

Brutal Fighter is the 5th book in the 82nd Street Vandals series and absolutely must be read in order. Another amazing book in this series!!! I freaking am obsessed with the Vandals and Emersyn! This baby is intense and steamy, and it's freaking HAWTTTT!!! Mayhem and Chaos!!!

The book ends on another cliffhanger, which isn't a surprise since Heather warned us it would happen. I can't wait for the next book in the series Dangerous Renegade to be released.

Emersyn is back with the Vandals after the trauma that happened in book 4. If you thought the guys were protective in the earlier books, they intensify in this baby. No one is getting to her. Emersyn steps up to the plate and is embracing becoming a member of their gang. She's taking back some of what's been stolen from her and saves their asses a few times. She's becoming a Vandal because she knows she belongs there. Emerson and Freddie are dealing with the trauma they experienced at Pinetree. The guys are all trying to find their footing with Em again. They want to give her space but also want to protect and comfort her. We also have a lot more Lainey time. Things are starting to unravel. Someone seems to have it out for the Vandals and there is still the issue with the trucks being jacked.

This continues to be a newly favorite series of mine! It hits all my favorite tropes and the characters are amazing! The ending was such a cliffhanger (after I thought we were going to get a happy ending, which I'm not complaining about; I love a tortured cliffhanger ending!) I can't wait to read the next one! The only thing I dont love is the relationship between Lainey and milo (I think probably just because I want all the focus on our fmc and her guys lol) and I also don't love how much emersyn dances around her trauma with the guy. In this book she finally tells Kellan a peice of it but she just continues to keep it all bottled up!

I absolutely love, love this series and can't get enough of it. This arthur makes me want more and more of these character's in her stories she is so talented. This book wasn't any different as it picks up where it left off in the previous book. Emerson had escaped that hell hole of a psych hospital thanks to Freddie my man she's trying to adjust to being back with her guys but thing's are in a mess, she's a mess, but she's a work in progress. I don't want to give thing's away you'll just have to grab it and find out what happens you won't want to miss out that's for sure.

I have no words to describe....

Just how GOOD this book was. This journey that they're all taking is dark, dangerous and utterly beautiful. Seeing these characters not just grow but face the darkness leaves me breathless every time. I love the Emersyn is finally opening up, that Jasper is dealing with his anger and abandonment issues, that Rome is slowly cracking through his shell, that Kellan finally took the reins, and that once they are ALL together as it should be. I also loved the Doc got over himself and Freddie, god that man makes me cry so much. Vaughn is still one of my faves just because of his acceptance and Milo, well he's learning. The relationship between all of them is beautiful and I adore the loyalty amidst the darkness. Things are starting to unravel and truths, ugly or otherwise, are coming to light. The story is starting to get nail biting to say the least. I'm going to leave that ending alone cause to be honest I haven't processed it and it may take awhile.
