I did enjoy this one, but not as much as the first one.

I'm with the Banned picks up after Tansy's summer apart from Vaughn. When they finally are reunited, it's meant to be a joyous day, but it's ruined by the appearance of their least favorite vampire band, The Drainers. To make matters worse, someone is murdering werewolves by ripping out their hearts. Tansy has to juggle murder, boyfriend problems and being the new vampire queen. But she's totally up for it, right?

This one suffered a bit from second book syndrome. There was just something missing from this one which kept me from enjoying it as much. I really enjoy Tansy's character, but so of her decisions were super suspicious. Like girl, why you going to trust people who have shown you, you can't?

One thing I did enjoy was the addition of hell cats. Tansy and granny adopt one too which was super cute! I hope we see more of the cats in the finale. The drama between Tansy and Vaughn was mostly annoying to me. Idk if I'm just super jaded or was Not in the Mood for it, but either way it dragged. I also did not like how Skylar treated Tansy in this book. She was such a bitch and Tansy spent ALL of book one saving this bitch's ass. Like girl (Skylar), don't fucking doubt your best friend.

Overall, I did like that this expanded the band of supernatural creatures, but some of the predictability of the plot took enjoyment from me. I'll still be reading book 3 when it's out!
