The second half redeemed itself, following a stepfather and stepson and their mixed relationship and relationships with poetry and literature, sapphic women make lots of appearances? And it feels a little adolescent like a poet.

 Relatively slow paced... I struggled with it early on, It's definitely worth staying with it. Many beautiful sentences related to our struggles with the relationships in our lives.

Also, learned a bunch about Chilean poets and poetry

Vou tomar a liberdade de emprestar um trecho do livro e mudar umas palavrinhas para dizer como fiquei quando terminei essa leitura: eu fico com vontade de entrar junto com ela e acompanhá-la e segui-la, como um cachorrinho. Realmente adoraria, mas preciso permanecer...

E foi assim que fechei o livro, com uma vontade doida de continuar a história. Saber mais sobre esses poetas chilenos, mas precisei deixar que ela se encerrasse, ou melhor, que ela continuasse em mim, em cada um que a leu.

"Poeta Chileno" é uma obra cativante, daquela que você quer devorar e demorar em suas palavras. É com lágrimas nos olhos que eu indico esse livro.
