description you can get lost in as well as the perspectives of the characters, all so distinct and complex in their own voices. I love the writer’s setting and plot of the domestic, finding meaning in every sentence and every mundane reality. A grounded and honest story that doesn’t necessarily set out opinions explicitly for the reader to simply adopt but instead focuses on action and thought from which the reader can draw their own conclusions, and make the book what they choose. Liked it a lot and I now want read her other stuff.
