Laurie Notaro cracks me up. Seriously, the girl is just funny and is again in this collection. OK, some of her stories hit home with me better than others, but all are quality. I particularly enjoy her exploits with online medical sites and stories on her relationship with her family. She tends to not have an edit button between her thoughts and her mouth, which gets her into trouble and also makes for some interesting tales.

I love this woman's writing. She's honest and not afraid to embarrass herself.

Another funny one from Laurie Notaro! I find myself liking her personal stories better than her fiction, but only slightly. Any book that can make me guffaw out loud and exclaim "I've totally done that!" is tops on my list. :)

I wasn't a fan. Part of it was my fault. The only other book I had read by her was Spooky Little Girl and I expected it to be like that. It definitely wasn't. But even once I got past that it just wasn't that funny. Amusing at times but overall kind of blah.

a fun read. I liked her first two a bit better. But I would still read this one again.

Short and funny essays. I enjoyed this book, some of the stories were super funny, but not as many as I would hope from a comedy book. I would still recommend it, there are plenty of laughs to be had.

More proof that I, too, am an idiot girl and Laurie is my Queen.
