i really liked the concept of the book, the author clearly has strong storytelling abilities too, which was particularly visible in the longer chapters. but the book altogether just felt way too long for me personally (sorry)

really not for me but there were some beautiful passages. i felt tense reading this, which isn't something i can say i usually feel when reading. 

lemons and skeletons, life and mortality, anatomy and plastination, and, of course, flights

i got this book because i loved the translator's memoir .
