2.5 stars. Still mildly entertaining but sadly I am finding Daisy extremely annoying. Granted it has been quite a few years since I read the first one but I remember Daisy as being a strong, independent, interesting and likable character. Now she comes across as immature, whiny and stupid (yes it is stupid to constantly put yourself in danger investigating things when you don’t need to). I lost count of the number of times she bursts into tears or cries. And her relationship with Sam is not one I can really get behind. I mean they say they love each other but they don’t even seem to like each other. They are always annoyed with the other and bickering, they don’t really seem to have any common interests and aside from eating copious meals with her family – which Sam did when Billy was alive they never spend time together.
