This book was an excellent overview/summary of our divided world. It was refreshing to read about other continents and countries as their own individual, instead of being constantly compared to the U.S/Canada. (Though there are some brief comparisons to the U.S). I was disappointed to not have chapters on Australia and South America though. I do believe that adding these chapters would have benefitted the book analysis greatly. I found it interesting that the most damage is caused when there is division within one sector (whether it be country/religion/nation/ethnicity/race/etc)-not so much (there is a large significant portion but a different kind of damage is done) when two different sectors are against each other. This book was written in 2018, but it is still extremely relevant and applicable to the current events (and will continue to be so).
