There are not enough stars ten stars for this tear jerking romance that I really enjoyed right from the first page. Loved the little girl Thea and was crying with delight at her achievement. The proverbial happy ending and a bitter disappointment that it had ended. Fist time I’ve read Chrissie Manby and I recommend her a real feel good factor romance.

A fun, light hearted read. Just a tad too predictable and the characters were fairly cliche and shallow. It dragged in parts but kept me reading until the end.

Kirsty gives up another season in the Caribbean working on a cruise ship to follow home her new love, Jon, to his hometown of Newbay.
Here he starts producing the local Christmas panto and Kirsty is cast as the lead of Cinderella.

Ben is a widower who lives back with his Mum and his daughter, Thea.
After meeting Kirsty briefly on the beach, Ben and Thea are thrown in to panto land as Thea gets the role of one of the mice.
As he sounds more time with Kirsty, Ben finds himself falling for her and wondering why she is with someone like Jon.
Kirsty also feels her confidence forever taking blows as Jon comments on her weight, feet size and constantly has little digs about her.

An amusing and easy Christmas read with lots of colourful panto characters and a will they, won't they romance to keep you turning the pages.
