This book made me realize my limit with these types of books. Anything that has to do with child assault like that makes me way too uncomfortable. I could never read this book again but wow it didn't see that coming. I've read over 400 books but I never had to struggle with the main character like that. I thought that I was supposed to like him so I tried so hard but them it became clear that he is not a character you root for.
Ty is a recovering cancer patient that works for his uncle in the film industry that is another Weinstein. Ty is haunted by his past through the yellow woman but he doesn't know why. We follow Ty and his relationships that eventually leads us to the truth of the yellow woman.

I have to be honest, I finished reading this out of curiosity rather than enjoyment.
While it was well-written, it feels like the author had a checklist of every terrible thing that could happen to a person and did their best to check them all off. It was excessive, turning the main character into the exact opposite of a Mary Sue character, and not to his benefit.
It's disturbing and it's uncomfortable to read outright paedophilia written so explicitly and comfortably.

It’s extreme horror and extreme porn, and is certainly not for the faint-hearted. It’s chock-full of depravity Unfortunately, that is all there is. The story is weak and unsatisfying. For me it was money wasted, but I seem to be pretty much alone in that view.
