Sierra Maywood thinks her luck may have finally turned when she learns that she has inherited her Grandma's house upon her death. She works part-time as a seamstress at Delphino's while she takes courses at college to become a Couture Fashion Designer. Yet nothing prepares her for walking into her Grandma's to only discover that someone else is living there.

Asher Morgan is a rich, successful lawyer who has also been quite the womanizer in the past. He is immediately attracted to Sierra but knows he must keep his hands off his new "landlady". Yet no matter what he does he can't seem to get her off his mind.

As Asher and Sierra begin to become friends several events keep testing their friendship and as they begin to cross over the line will their families and past relationships cause everything to implode when it is clear that they can't have everything they want?

I really enjoyed this book! I wasn't sure what I was expecting but this wasn't it! I couldn't out the book down and loved all the different trials and tribulations that Asher and Sierra had to face.

I totally understand why Sierra was leery to get involved with Asher and had him prove why she was worth it. I thought it was funny how long they ended up "waiting" due to other circumstances. I truly think he proved his worth quite a few times over when he realized himself how much he cared about her!

I must say I was extremely disappointed in Asher's father and everything that he tried to pull with Sierra and her family. I was sad that even with losing Asher's mom there was no room for family or for someone that didn't fit into the mold that he was looking for.

I loved the ending and how Asher got everything set back up and was able to do what he loved and how he wanted to. His work was important but so was his life outside of work! I liked also how he was able to swing things for Sierra too!
