10 Blind Dates is an entertaining young adult novel, perfect for lovers of Hallmark movies or anyone looking for a festive, fluffy read. It won’t satisfy you if you’re on the hunt for a richer plot or more complex characters. But if you love a good rom-com featuring crazy large families and a good ol’ friends-to-lovers trope, this is for you.

So so so so adorable.
Initially I wasn't planning on ever reading this book but in the past month I've heard so many people talk about it and how much they loved it.
I needed a palette cleanser after the romance I've been reading and a cute ya contemporary was exactly what I had in mind.
The audiobook was so good, I really liked the narrator's voice as she brought the book to life.

This book is a perfect holiday read because it's so cute, fluffy and it takes place over the winter break.
My absolute favorite part of the book was the big family Sophie had. They were Sicilians and it showed. They were loud and I loved seeing them interact. I've always wanted a huge family like that so it was wonderful for me to at least read about it.

The idea of 10 blind dates was hilarious and so fun. I loved Nonna's plan and the dates themselves were amazing. I loved reading about all the crazy stuff Sophie had to do and the poor girl didn't have it easy.
It was great how the whole family was involved and making bets about the dates.
I loved the lightheartedness of it all but the book also involved some drama surrounding Sophie's sister's pregnancy. That part was scary but it all turned out okay which was a relief.

Sophie was such a likable main character. She was down to earth and really nice. I liked her personality and how she took on any challenges thrown her way.
She was a typical teenager and I loved that.

I really enjoyed how Sophie reconnected with Olivia, Charlie and Wes. They were such a great group and I adored their dynamic.
Wes was such a good guy and he was a great love interest.
This book to me though was much more about Sophie finding her way back to happiness and her family than her finding love. The dates were awesome and fun and I liked that she somewhat ended up with Wes at the end because they were a great pairing, I just didn't really feel the romance and I think we absolutely did not get enough of just the two of them for me to really fall in love with them as a couple. I wanted more but I don't think that's what the book was about.

Overall such a nice surprise. It was the perfect afternoon read for today and I had a lot of fun. It was relaxing and intriguing and I enjoyed it so much. It would be perfect as a little romcom movie or a limited series.

It's rare to have a book make me laugh out loud, but this one did! Between large family antics and terrible blind dates this book was a delightful read.

I finished this 7.5 hour audiobook in 24 hours... that's how good this was.
This book was so good. Like I couldn't stop listening. It was charming and full of funny date stories. Sign. Me. Up. I loved the main character and her relationship with her family. It was also cool to read a book set in a similar location to where I live (it's culturally similar to my area) and that was neat to see in a book.

I loved this book, but I'm going to give it 4 stars because it is kinda predictable. I didn't know how the ending was going to be achieved but I knew it was coming. Even still, I really enjoyed this book and think it would be perfect to add to your Christmas TBR. (or any other TBR for that matter)

4 stars

10 Blind Dates is definitely one of my favourite, if not my favourite, romantic comedies that I've read to date. I love the Messina family along with the Fab Four and I want to continue with their story in 10 Truths and a Dare. A re-read to get me into the holiday mood and prepare for the sequel was just what I needed to boost my spirits.
