Like the previous books in the series this book is a quick read with an intriguing mystery. Agatha is a smart and fiesty heroine and while Hank and Coil have both irritated me at several points ultimately they are stand up guys.
While both authors seem to pride themselves on their research and realistic portrayals of police procedure, I was quite disappointed and annoyed with their misrepresentation of the well debunked (by historians) battle at The Alamo. I expected better. There are several very good books on the factual history that has been lost to the myth and PR. One would assume these authors would be aware of them.
