This whole series was a lot of up and downs for me, sometimes I was reading fast to get to what was after, sometimes I was interested.
Too many times, stuff is missing and is not explained, which should not happen in a collected edition. It's not impossible to understand, but you know, it's missing a part of the characters' story I'm supposed to be following while reading a series, so it's annoying.
I liked Magneto's storyline, even though the conclusion seems rushed and/or brutal to me. Not too much, but just enough to leave me wanting there was a bit more of the "ramping up".
This was the first series I read that involved Polaris that much, and she definitely caught my attention. I feel like this was barely scratching the surface.

Well..that was bleak. But hey, lots of future stuff and fights and Magneto being Magneto, so pretty fun.

Side note, but is that the worst description of this comic that you've ever heard? Wow, that was bad.
The point: Wow, this book was a great ender. Turned it around a bit on me because I actually like how Blue ended better than Gold. Gold kinda just stopped. Blue actually tried to give us a resolution of sorts to the storyline it had picked up. Great end to a kinda meh run. I have to give Bunn props for that.

Spoiler
I mean, not really a resolution at all, but it definitely tried. It had those characters have those hard conversations. The Bobbys, man. The Bobbys. Fucking heartbreaking.lillian_francis's review

Choked up a bit thinking about all the guys have to give up to go back to their timeline, especially Bobby.
