As I am sitting here, crying in bed, trying to gather my thoughts, I am shocked by how much I loved this book and series as a whole. This is a series that angered me, which made me laugh, and made me cry. I read Darkdawn slowly because I didn't want it to end. I didn't want to say goodbye to Mia, Ashlinn, Mercurio, or anyone else picked up along the way. Jay Kristoff, you have written something so unique, so revolutionary, that I don't know what to do with myself now that it is over.
Mia showed so much growth over the course of this book. Those last few chapters, with her reflecting on her journey were so powerful and true. I know everyone will probably leave their review like this but I cannot help myself:
Never Flinch
Never Fear
Never Forget

This book and series was fricken amazing! This was my first dark fantasy trilogy and I absolutely loved it! Great action and the world building was beautiful. The mythology was detailed and played an important role throughout this book. The series has lots of twisted turns. Godsgrave was still my favourite! I loved how things concluded! Jay is brilliant for creating one badass hero!

Such an amazing conclusion to an fantastic trilogy, it was so satisfying watching everything slowly come full circle and end in the most satisfying way possible.

My least favourite of the trilogy but the side characters really made up for where the overall ending underwhelmed me. Sidonius, Bladesinger and Tric my children i loved them all and Mercurio what a guy love him too.

It was a good series but i feel like every book started to dip in the entertainment aspect for me and by this final book I was having a hard time finishing it.

A great end to the Trilogy!
But minus 1 star for being so slow. I feel like Kristoff maybe tried to do too much - tried too hard to make it epic. The middle of the book dragged, so much so that I was bored. I could barely read 10 pages at a time before it lost my interest. Luckily, the ending made up for it.
The action at the end was a little hard to follow, but overall I was pleased with how it all wrapped up.
