I really enjoyed this book. It kept me captivated and guessing a bit even though I did figure out most of what actually happened fairly quickly. I really appreciated there was even a subtle red herring that I applaud since it kept me hyper focused on a specific aspect.

Read this after watching the TV series, and I was not disappointed! Very gripping, good writing, and it was nice to get a throwback to my sixth form days when I also did an EPQ (although not about a murder mystery)

This book was very good and well written but I have to give it a 2 star rating. This is because the murder  was too disturbing and I don't think I am going to read another murder mystery but I do recommend it if you can handle murder scenes.
