I've read other books by this author, but unfortunately this was not for me. Still good tho.

Absolutely loved this! Not only was this dark and spicy but I love so much that we get both main characters perspectives. Can’t wait to reed the next one.

When I tell you I was concerned at first, big oof. I was worried I would have to bill the author for the whiplash that it was reading the prologue. POV are not camera angles, why am i reading one paragraph from the MMC followed by a paragraph from the FMC back and forth like its a tenis match? there was an attempt at differentiating the POVs by bolding the MMC's section, but honestly that gave me war flashbacks to reading Wattpad fanfiction from 2012. I let out the breath I didn't realized I was holding when I realized that it was just the prologue in that format. Honestly what made it bearable is that I was reading it outload to my friend to show her the nonsense that it was.
But worry not, the rest of the book had its own issues, which include but are not limited to: insta love more instantaneous than 1 minute rice, a "ruthless" "smart" mafia man who thinks with his head (and no, not the one on his shoulders).
This is the last book by this author that I had on my TBR and unless a miracle happens or theres alcohol involved, I doubt I'll read anything else by her

I don't know why I attempted to read another Willow book when I really dislike her writing. Her version of alpha male is a guy who uses fuck in every other sentence.

Ths is a sizzling, standalone romance that will captivate fans of steamy, mafia-themed love stories with a happy ending, perfect for readers who crave a tantalizing tale of forbidden passion and the thrill of a strong, dominant hero.
