This is a perfect fall read! It's a cozy romance. Lighthearted and sweet. Amy returns to her hometown to keep her mother from selling her childhood home and move her grandfather in with her. When she arrives she's relieved to find out no one has read her horror series based on the people in the town. When her car breaks down the one person she wants to avoid picks her up, Kit, her ex boyfriend. After a heart to heart the feelings she thought were buried resurfaced. Then the townspeople start to read her books!

This one was a quick read for me! It was a sweet, cozy, clean, autumn, second chance romance. Some of Amy's decisions made me really annoyed and the final couple chapters before the epilogue felt a little rushed to me, but overall it was a really cute book!

Second chance romance
Small town
Autumn season

It is a short book and I think it could have been more developed.
It is nice and sweet.

I mean, how could I resist that title?!? I’ve been on a tear of horror and/or murder mysteries for October, so I figured I’d lighten it up a bit with some fall inspired romance. This was just what I had in mind: short, sweet, and pumpkin-y!

DNF 52 pages in. Found the writing shallow and cheesy .. wasn’t for me. Also had issues with main character
