What a douche cannoe. He sort of redeemed himself, but he's still a dick.

Weston was too much of an asshole to later be a trusted love to Kendra. You don't change that much. She should have kicked him out after the first insult.

More like 2.5 stars, but still--I struggle with the raging a-hole becoming the doting boyfriend in just a few months (granted, that's better than a few weeks, like some books I've read). The way he and Kendra first hit it off (and by "hit it off" I mean far from it), I would've been like "Caleb (Kendra's brother), I don't care if this colleague of yours needs a place to sleep, he's obnoxious and I want him gone. I'm not walking on eggshells in my own house!" Their argument that's the usual plot contrivance in the last quarter of the book falls flat and if anything, just reinforces his reputation of being a dick and so maybe Kendra should just let him go. Kendra's a much more forgiving soul than I, LOL.

Kendra is fantastic and I was confused on what was taking Weston so long to fall for her. Her brother sets them up as roommates and she mistakes his one night stand as the new roomie when they first meet. He gets into an accident and she is the only one who is there for him. He’s rude and keeps pushing her away but he has his reasons and is actually an undercover angel.
Overall Book ⭐️⭐️⭐️
