What even is this book? I feel like Sogn was trying to write 3 different novels at once, the message was garbled, and the pacing was just plain weird. And yet I gobbled it up in 3 days and find myself wishing that Sogn had other books I could add to my tbr.

This book started really slow and I really didn't like the main character. She was pretty naive and clueless. And the whole book she's trying to find her friend but gets brainwashed into a cult that she knew about going in.
