Such a sweet picture book! I may have teared up a bit reading as the mom searched for ways to support her daughter. This story touches on social aesthetic elements of being trans when Trinity expresses wanting long hair because she's a trans girl and it will help other people see who she is, and it drives into autism experiences when discussing the way Triniti struggles with the sensory stimulus of having long hair.

This book is so sweet and positive, it's really nice to read about a black, autistic, trans child who is fully accepted and supported by her family. A very short but validating story.

Has a transgender, autistic Black main character, and multiple nonbinary characters. Presents a positive and loving view of Black families, and shows what love and understanding look like for autstic and lgbtq+ people.
