I much prefered If I let you go. This was a very intense book, essentially 400 pages of inner thoughts. The story flow was good, and quite a good ending, but it made for a very uncomfortable read and one that I was keen to finish.
Having said the above, it's beautifully written.

This was okay, I think it was a book that was just taking me along for a fun ride. It's a thriller without the slow start, it was also pretty predictable but overall an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed Charlotte Levin's writing so much that at first, it was the only thing pushing me through the story, as I was thoroughly disgusted with the male characters. They reminded me so much of the toxic males I've met in my life that at times I had to pause to swallow the rising bile. To be honest, most of the ways these men had treated Constance were very triggering for me.
But nonetheless, I'm glad I finished the story. The ending really did its part and I even shed a few tears. I came into this journey for some obsessive, creepy narratives but instead found myself a great story of just a girl, left lonely in this world, trying to hang on to every last bit of meaning meant for her to keep on living.
