Hooray! My first grader has been telling me how boring reading is and we FINALLY found a book she loved. This was perfect for her interest level and was pretty fun to read aloud. We read it all in one sitting and have already requested a couple others in the series from the library. Success all around!

Another good Bad Kitty book. This one is where Kitty learns to be nice to Puppy.

More silliness from Kitty. When she is not feeling well her owner is forced to take her to the vet which turns out to be quite the ordeal. At the vet Kitty is sedated and finds herself at the gates of Pussycat Paradise but is told that she must be kind to puppy in the next 24 hours or she will be sent to Puppy Paradise.
Good for ages 6 and up.

Aaron (age 7): It was a good book and I liked it.

Ally (age 8): It's really funny and you would like it.

Read this with my 4yo and he was super into it, and he's not normally into books that arent about construction. And he doesnt like cats, but bad kitty is apparently hilarious and he wants to adopt him.

This newest adventure brings Kitty to the vet, but not before he puts up a valiant fight. Hilarious and clever, this newest Bad Kitty book is a must.

Also notable are the 'Uncle Murray's Fun Facts' sections. Not only are they engaging, they're packed with truly useful info about cats and veterinarians!

Both kids are longstanding Bad Kitty fans, and when the younger (also a teen now!) saw this at the bookstore, he asked me to get it from the library.

I want to say Bad Kitty has gone downhill, but maybe it's just that with the kids being teens and not reading this sort of thing anymore (me or them), I am just not used to it anymore, and they aren't really either. They both read it, I read it. Dad had to look at the one GREAT page, and we have a new family joke. "It's not THAT kind of thermometer Kitty!"

Yes we have cats.
