Coming off of The Viltrumite War, I expected a slower volume. You could make the argument that it was, but I loved the direction of Invincible’s character. It goes to that grey area of superheroes that most don’t go down, but Invincible always does.

So many cool plot points with Eve, Robot & Monster Girl, Universa, Powerplex, and Dinosaurus.

Plus, I think the art takes off from this point forward. It makes sense, because they made their first mention of using digital art in the sketchbook.

I was worried the series was all downhill after the Viltrumite War, but this continues nicely.
