I love Eve, I just love a strong female lead. I like that she was the one using a nickname and that she wasn't called fking "Little One" like every other woman out there. Rory also became so charming as they got settled. The whole pack brushing their teeth together was quite cute.

Interesting to see the alpha male trope reversed with an alpha female this time. Eve is aggressive, dominant, sexual, competent and emotionally distant. She did a lot of stuff that's considered dubcon at best noncon at worst, similar to most alpha male romances. I enjoyed this as fiction but really have to suspend my usual beliefs etc.

3.5 ⭐ This was good, all the characters were fun and I liked Eve, but I don't think I really believed where a few of the relationships were at at the end. The book said there was a depth there that didn't feel genuine for where it was, it felt like there needed to be more time.

So I’m not usually one for the alpha/beta/omega stuff but I’ll read anything by Kathryn Moon! I was like enough to beta read this one for her and it’s great! Eve is a tough cookie and an alpha with no desire for a pack and then she ends up finding the perfect one for her! Each of the guys has a distinct personality and aspect that compliments her really well. They all just work together and I love them! Definitely excited for more!

It took me a while to warm up to commitment-phobic alpha Eve, but I ended up loving Adam and Eve together. Then add in Garrett, Rory and Jamie, all alphas who agree to protect Adam (but Rory and Jamie are more interested in Eve), and it was an action-packed story! Man, Kathryn Moon is great!
