i'm too old to relate to the characters in this book, so i'm not as big a fan of it as i used to be when i was a teen, but personally this book is still a bit of a fun read. i am looking to sell it, though, so that may be a sign that this book isn't exactly worth keeping once you're an adult.

teen experiences are technically raunchier and rougher than what's been chronicled in this book, but, then again, this is for younger readers, so i understand why it's heavily sanitised here. that being said, i prefer it when YA books are less censored because that makes it more realistic and i can relate to the story a lot better.

I really liked this book, and I enjoy how unique all of the characters are to each other. It's also quite enjoyable reading about a group of girls with my name.

The book started out with Ashley Spencer fawning over her school hottie yet ultra-short boyfriend, Tri (and of course, being arrogant towards all the other girls), A.A. being annoyed with her best friend Tri dating Ashley, Lauren still struggling to fit in and carry on with her evil plans, and Lili feeling totally lonely with her boy-less world.

In the end, most of the girls had learned something important, excluding one certain girl who I'm sure will in the next book. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next one.
