"not everything everywhere is for us"

pretty good, especially for the year it was published. i do find it funny how sci fi from the 60s did not think to account for gender equality, therefore pretending women do not even exist in this book. otherwise, very cool, very unique opposing force at play.

really just picked this up because of the video game adaptation this is getting, so i'm looking even more forward to that now.

I love Solaris but somehow this one didn't quite do it for me. Maybe because I had it on audiobook. I will probably give it a proper re-read some day.

Reads like a modern book, just more condensed. It to the point and at the same time taking it's time, but never unnecessarily so.
