I mean, I enjoyed the prequel, but then I started Red Thorns and realized it was just the first few chapters of that... so more like a sample or a teaser than a prequel... which just annoys me. I'll still give it 4 stars though, as that's what Red Thorns will get also...

This is basically the first three chapter of ‘Red Thorns’, book 1 of the Thorn Duet series. It is identical, so I wasted my time reading it as a prequel
