Honestly, it started getting so much better after almost 120 pages in. It took me WAY TOO LONG to read it due to how boring it was in the beginning (I almost dnf-ed it but anywaysss!!) The storyline is SO good and it's an incredibly emotional book that portrays grief in its truest form ever. At first, I was trying my absolute best to push through this book, but I'm glad I did.

Cute book with a (less intense) Time Traveler’s Wife, Oona Out of Order vibe. Enjoyable light summer read.

a very unique premise with a sweet romance — i really liked the main characters and
how they both had to grow and learn about themselves  before being able to be together… it’s all in the timing, right?
i wish we got more story with the aunt and vera, i’d honestly love a book about their story together and to know more about them.

The magical realism was an interesting twist to a romance. Felt like there were some plot holes with it, but they resolved by the end. I loved the writing and I loved their connection. This book dealt with grief in a good way and I really enjoyed it!
