A solid read. I enjoyed it. Read through in a day. Good world building and I enjoyed both MCs and secondary characters. Mostly the lack of details with kissing or love scenes left much to be desired. Otherwise enjoyable read. Will likely check out the rest of the series.

This was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump and I can’t wait to get into the rest of the series. Part romance but also political plot line that makes the series more adventurous.

Aedre and Vanni… learning what a Garra is… a healer of love.

Ms. Mecca takes me to another world. I escape from modern day, back to days when things were simpler, or were they?

Will Aedre thwart Vanni's plan to return Kipp to the south to become King? Will Aedre leave her father and Amma and go south with Vanni? Does Vanni assume since he is the man, that Aedre will follow him wherever he goes?

I cried, so be forewarned!! I absolutely fell in love with The King's Commander!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
