It’s no “It Happened One Summer” but it’s pretty close. Tessa always knows how to keep her readers coming back for more with her tall dark and handsome men along with quirky women.

Two shallow, totally dysfunctional people have a fling and commit to each other at the worst possible time in their lives, making a HUGE mistake... And like seemingly always, the woman makes the most sacrifices by the end with no home, no family, no job, no security, no income, no legal protections, no car, and no friends to help her. All I can say is thank God this is fiction because seeing it happen to one more woman would break my heart. It already happens to too many of us and is NOT romantic or sexy. Mid-life crises, breakdowns, and people in need of therapy are NOT romantic or sexy either! This book is SO TOXIC.
