i read this out of boredom and kind of as a joke and it was unexpectedly good. i probably would have liked it more but in general, stalking is not my favorite trope.

Easy and cozy read with just enough stress/mystery to keep you interested. Every character is lovable enough that you wouldn’t mind reading a spin-off or two, except for the antagonist, whom you’d like to hit with a brick. Minorly triggering for all the people out there who’ve dealt with a shitty ex but otherwise a comfortable and satisfying story of a woman regaining her confidence. I even teared up a little. And did I mention the tentacles? Yeah.
