When Tamara was six, her life was saved by a vampire named Eric Marquand. Although she never knew it, this created an enduring psychic connection between her and the 200-year old vampire. Now it's 20 years later, and Tamara works for the government's Deparatment of Paranormal Investigations. In her dreams, though, she calls out to Marquand as he is the only one who can make her feel whole again. Twilight Begins collects the first two books in Maggie Shayne's Wings of the Night series. These romances all take place in a world where vampires are hunted down by the government, but where they also experience great passions and true love.

A twilight series to certainly pale in comparison - we'll see. . .

This book is actually two small books combined to make one. The first book wasn't as good as the second book but it had some necessary back-story. AND the first book had major *blush factor*
