Read in an afternoon. Nice bit of escapism that seems to be progressing towards an exciting finish.

Best cliffhanger yet! It was pretty obvious that
I only gave this book 3 start because Cal's the luckiest kid alive. I mean, he escaped from the cops at least twice in each book, he loses all his stuff, then by 'luck' he gets it back. If he needs to get away quickly, immediately there's a good mode of transport. If he's getting chased by the cops, his friends will be there to save him.
I think I'm gonna stop there because if I go on and on like usual then I'll break my computer.
Spoiler
Gabbi's kidnappers wouldn't follow through the deal like they said they would, but I had no idea that they would throw her off the bridge! I think the start of the next book will be Cal stuck at the end of a massive waterfall, and - like usual - he'll find a way out of itI only gave this book 3 start because Cal's the luckiest kid alive. I'm glad I finally picked up the last half of this series. The books are so much fun to read and exactly what I needed- fast paced and short! It's fun to be immersed in Cal's world, even if some of the things that happen are not exactly believable. But that's the fun of fiction bad having heroes in a story.
