I was really worried going into this because I really loved "Lovers" and I didn't want this to ruin their relationship for me. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the conflict was handled as it really was something trivial. I loved that we saw Carina in this book and I'm super excited to read about her love story. Overall this book was amazing and made me love the couple even more. I really wish Andrew got his own love story.
Quotes+my comments:
Yes, ever since he began walking again, he’s been very…active.”
(Aww he's walking again. I wish we got a love story for Andrew)
But all of this could’ve been avoided if he’d just talked to me.
(Truer words haven't been spoken)
He fell over me, pressing his forehead to mine. “Set a date.” This time it wasn’t a demand, it was a plea, said with a soft up and down stroke of my dick, promising to make me come harder than ever before. “God, fine,” I caved. “We’ll take the cancellation at the hotel.”
(See just talk it out😊)
With a groan of happiness and pleasure, I pushed in and fucked my husband in front of the entire strip. I did what I’d wanted to do since I was a teenager. I claimed him as mine and let him claim me as his. I surrendered.
(That's beautiful.)
“Look at you.” Laura beamed, taking in my belly. “You’re radiant, Carina.” “I’m sweating,”
(God I love this woman.)

WOAH! This one is FIRE peeps! We met Jake and Jackson in Lovers, but you can read this novella as a stand alone. This is their bumpy road to their own HEA and is not to be missed. It really ties in to the emotions that go through ones mind when planning for a wedding, and how vital it is to tell your partner the truth. These two are SUPER hot together they just need to get on the same page mentally to make the trip to the altar that they SO deserve!

This novella continues on from the story Lovers, following the same couple. I love when we get a glimpse into the future, after the HEA. The struggles with the next step things. Jake and Jackson are together, happy, but they have yet to set a date for their wedding. Despite Jake’s hesitation to be more in the first book, Jackson is the one holding back. I thought this was a perfect story to give us this problem to work through, and the steam we expect from this series.
