I really enjoyed this and found it super interesting. The experiments were interesting. As someone else said, it was a book about guts and yet I couldn’t put it down. I’ve never felt that way about a non-fiction book before. However, I realised halfway through reading that the author was the man who sadly died earlier this year, which made it both sad & a bit morbid especially as he talked about certain things to help prolong his life etc. All that aside, it was a brilliant book and I learnt a lot as it was well written and easy to digest (pardon the pun).

I read this as I’m interested in resetting my body with healthy foods and lifestyle as I’ve gained weight recently and my sleep pattern is not so good. I found it written in a way a non-scientist can understand and am eager to try some of the recipes to incorporate them into my diet. I don’t think too much of the advice would go out of date as it’s basically encouraging a change of lifestyle and it’s something that could be incorporated into any persons day.

Really gives a new insight into gut health, well conversationally written, not overly technical, and enjoyable!
