When you just marked a lot of pages on a certain poetry, it means that you're just in love with it.

❤︎ There is also some female empowerment quote that I really like;
She was afraid of heights
but she was
much more afraid
of never flying.

She had been through hell
and though no one could see her demons
they could see the face
that conquered them.

“Poetry
to me
is stumbling in the dark
searching for
the right words
to describe
the feeling
I get
when she smiles
while she sleeps”

Goosebumps everywhere. This book is... pure magic. Atticus manages to capture feelings we've all experienced at some point in the most perfect word combination anyone could ever think of. Some of poems struck home real hard, some made me question myself and my feelings, others inspired me to keep going and never give up on love and passions. Truly a must read.

This book is simple, sweet and melancholy all at the same time. It was a treat to read these beautifully written words.

"Art takes time— Monet grew his gardens before he painted them."

"In life I plan to keep going, till everyone’s left, the band has gone home, the cleaners have cleaned, and it’s just me and an old friend daring each other to steal things."

They're artistically crafted, soulful lines that bring out the creative brilliance of the poet. A definite must read!
