Throughout the Harbreak Brothers series, I have adored their younger sister, Becca. She's been a mainstay in all of their lives, and has been one of the main reasons none of them completely leave Hartson's Creek (Aunt Gina being the other). So her getting her own book was inevitable and wonderful!
Seeing her side of how disruptive it can be having four older, protective, brothers was great and the way she and Daniel deal with it is at times so funny. - see the group chat...
As usual, Carrie's writing is sheer perfection with these characters.
Then, the bonus epilogue. It's opened up a whole new world (hint hint, next gen books plz)

Finally it is Becca's story!! When Daniel comes back to the distillery to shake things up his first interaction with Becca leaves her with a poor taste in her mouth. But when the chips are down and the two learn more about what makes each other tick, first impressions are immediately changed. But can she fall in love with her boss and not jeopardize her career? Or will this be just the exact thing that Becca needs to finally get her HEA? Love, Love , Love this family!! This was the perfect ending to the siblings' storylines. Carrie Elks brings together laughter and love with an addition of snark and attitude.

Sweet
It was a sweet story. Simple. I was glad to see a not so perfect hero. However it didn’t have a lot of depth, for me. It was a lot sweeter than I was expecting for an “enemies to lovers” trope.
