I very rarely give out five stars just because to me it has to be a book that I both reread and feel the compulsion to share again every time I do.
Peachkeeper has a feel that I have yet to encounter elsewhere!

This one just wasn't for me. I don't read much magical realism but I'm doing a book challenge and thought I'd give this one a chance, the plot sounded interesting. Unfortunately I was not captivated by the characters or their plights. I didn't DNF because I needed to finish this magical realism prompt and I was interested to find out what happened between the two grandmother's and the mysterious man. It was not worth it to me, it fell so flat. I also had a hard time getting over the fact that this book was not diverse at all. Like not at all. Nothing.
