I’m currently working my way through SAA’s books, and I think that Willa might be a top character for me so far. I think she could have been fleshed out a bit more, but I also love what we were given with her.

It’s an emotional story that ultimately shows the importance with genuinely caring for one another. I think the one
society club meeting at Kirsty’s house
felt a little out of place compared to the rest of the book. It felt like that part wasn’t needed to convey a message that still came off fairly well by the end.

There was so much dwelling in the past that it sometimes felt like I was reading both this book and its prequel at the same time. I wish she had done more with
Sebastian’s
character. There was much left to be desired and a lot of confusion with it as well.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read that left me quite emotional and rethinking my own life.
