My favorite of the series! Logan was amazing of course. He stepped up and never denied his responsibilities. Someone else commented that this book was unrealistic and perhaps it is. Perfect men don't exist in my world, but I do enjoy reading about them. Logan and Cara's love felt authentic and wasn't rushed despite their circumstances.

I read Chasing Her Fire before any other Bailey Brothers book, and I liked it but didn't quite love it. However, after rereading Logan and Cara's story after reading Asher and Grace, Fiona and Evan, and Gavin and Skylar's novels, I liked it so much better. I HIGHLY recommend to read the Bailey Brothers series in order, because you definitely get more out of the story if you do so.

I had been looking forward to Logan's story as fans had anticipated that he would eventually be paired up with Cara, who is one of my favorite characters. However, this one just fell short for me. It felt a bit formulaic with the unplanned pregnancy after a one-night drunken encounter. Given their chemistry and angst in previous books, it just felt like, outside of the unplanned pregnancy, that their journey was just a bit too perfect for their HEA. It did have a good set-up for Levi's story which is the next book in the series. This was a rare miss for me by the author.

I am a newbie to Claire Kingsley. I LOVED this book. I hate that I found her because of a tragedy in her family, but I’m glad I did. I love this trope. Accidental pregnancy is a fave. I loved Cara’s fire. Logan just kept at her to get her trust, and that… wasn’t easy. They had to fight every step of the way.
