A sapphic romance spanning a few decades where childhood sweethearts get a second chance at their love after having separate families.

Before reading this, I fell in love with the cover and I did originally think it was going to be about 3 different love stories rather than one couple through their lives but I loved that it was that. This was an incredibly emotional story and the ending absolutely destroyed my soul. The illustrations were so beautiful too. I’d love to see more from these authors!

This is a great read that gets into the complexities of navigating figuring out your sexuality, family expectations, and romantic love. Highly recommend this sweet and cozy LGBTQIA+ love story which doesn’t shy away from the tough stuff.

I love the premise of this story and desperately want to read more stories with elder queers. But I felt the plot was a little underdeveloped, and that made it challenging to be as invested in some of the characters. Furthermore, I didn't like that parts of the story (such as James' backstory and the honeymoon) were in other books that you would also need to purchase and read to make sense of this story. I'd rather this just have been a longer volume with all of those elements incorporated.

Loved it! The ending had no right to be that beautiful and emotional, but I loved it!

This was good. I just didn’t love the cheating aspect. I understand and get why it happened and does happen in real life, but I just don’t like cheating. Also it made me a little uncomfortable that they haven’t seen each other in like 30 years or something and she just kissed her. I do like the representation borne race and sexuality. It was cute fore the most part, oh also there was like hardly any bingo not that it matters but still.
