I didn't think that I would enjoy this much given that a lot of it was just a summary of past novels but actually it was very lovely seeing how things have progressed in Bridgerton-land since their books finished.
I think the best part of this novel was the final chapters on Violet Bridgerton I thought it was a really lovely summary of her relationship with Edmund and I genuinely hated reading about their falling in love already knowing the outcome. I often wonder - because I'm the morbid sort - how these great couples who fall madly and deeply in love cope when their hero or heroine eventually dies. It seemed fitting that it was love for her children that saved Violet from the pain of losing Edmund.
Would definiteily recommend to those who read and loved the Bridgerton series.

The book I didn't know I needed. :) It's a lovely collection of second epilogs, set few years after each book. It's lovely to dive back into the world of Bridgerton siblings to see how if their happily ever after is still magical. :)
I loved each and every one. :) However, my absolute favorite one was Violet's story. Even though she doesn't marry again, seeing her happy and getting her happily ever after, in a way, it's very lovely. :)
Highly recommend it to fans of Bridgerton books!

I waited to read the 2nd epilogues until I finished the series, so this book was perfect. Plus the ending novella about Violet and Edmund was sweet! It was a cute conclusion with Violet, 75 years old, chatting with Daphne (who unexpectedly can't handle her mom talking about certain subjects 🤭). Short stories #1, 5, and 6 were prob my fav!! : Daphne's surprise, late pregnancy, and Simon's willingness to help family out (read his dad's letters). It was fun being in 1st pov with Amanda recognizing how beastly her twin and her were as kids and becoming a lady. It felt so with Francesca having fertility issues but still loving her nieces and nephews just as much.

If you are reading newer prints of the other Bridgerton books than you have access of the 2nd epilogue that previous copies did not include. So most of this book is not necessary. However, it does include Violet's story. Over the course of the other eight novels I've loved Violet and the wisdom she shares with her children. I hoped to one day read of her own love story with Edmund. This novella was brief but sweet and I'm so happy to have had the glimpse into their life together. I do wish there was more though
