I picked this up because I was looking for books on marketing. It wasn't exactly what I was originally looking for, but I found it a thoroughly entertaining and informative read. I never thought much about infomercials and direct response marketing, but I found this history of them to be enthralling. I recommend this to anyone with any interest in marketing or advertising. It was a great book, and I don't normally enjoy non-fiction.
